Diabetes Symptoms
The first thing you can do to control diabetes is simply recognize the associated symptoms at the earliest for prompt and effective treatment. Both type 1 and 2 of the condition have similar indications. Here we will discuss the symptoms associated with them.

Diabetes is a condition where the quantity of glucose in your blood far exceeds the quantity of glucose in your body cells. Type 12 of the disease occurs due to the destruction of all the insulin producing cells. Type 2 diabetes usually occurs when the body cells begin to resist the insulin produced. Both types deprive your body of much required insulin and your body reacts by giving you warning indications; i.e. the symptoms of diabetes.

If you’ve started going to the bathroom more frequently then you ever did before, you do have cause for concern. Urination is usually more frequent when there’s a higher quantity of glucose present in the blood. If body insulin is ineffective or non existent, the kidneys will not be able to filter glucose into the blood. They try to make up for the insulin ineffectiveness by attempting to draw out water from within the blood in a bid to dilute the glucose. This fills up your bladder and forces you to visit the bathroom at frequent intervals.

If you’re feeling unusually thirsty, you may be suffering from diabetes, especially if it’s accompanied by frequent urination. If the body is drawing out more water from your blood and is leading to your visiting the bathroom more often, chances are you will become dehydrated, sooner or later. This dehydration will aggravate your thirst for water in a bid to replace the quantity you are losing.

If you suddenly find yourself losing weight without a valid reason such as diet or exercise, you could be suffering from Diabetes type 1. This condition is triggered by either by the pancreas’s failure to make insulin as a result of a viral attack or because a misguided autoimmune response makes the body fight the insulin producing cells within. The body then desperately seeks out energy sources since the cells are not receiving any and starts breaking down fat and muscle tissue to make up for it.

You should also look out for other symptoms of diabetes such as fatigue or weakness and tingling or numbness in your hands and feet. These indications could very well signal the onset of the condition.
